കവിയും പ്രഭാഷകനും വിവര്‍ത്തകനുമായ വി പി വാസുദേവന്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു. 79 വയസ്സായിരുന്നു.

കേരള ഭാഷാധ്യാപക സംഘടന, കെഎസ്എസ്‌ബിഎസ്, കെജിടിഎ, കെഎസ്‌ടിഎ തുടങ്ങിയ അദ്ധ്യാപകസംഘടനകളുടെ സംസ്ഥാന ഭാരവാഹി, സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം എന്നീ നിലകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കെജിടിഎ സംഘടനാ രൂപീകരണത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കണ്ണികളിലൊരാളായിരുന്നു. സംസ്‌കാരം ശനിയാഴ്ച നടക്കും.
